Newspaper Boy

This book is collected 2 stories.But both story's main character is Toby.

1. ALARM !
Toby's work is delivering newspapers to people's house.And he worked on Friday in December. It was dark and it was snowing.This morning, Toby was taking newspapers to Mr. Spry's house.It was 6:30 in the morning. Mr. Spry was always asleep at this time, but this morning, there was a light under Mr. Spry's back door.So, Toby got a surprise. Toby went slowly up to the window. But there were cartains inside, and these were clothed.So, he saw nothing. It was another window. And it was very high and very small.But these were no cartains. When Toby found some empty box, he tried to look in the room.But the box was not strong. So, he fell and knocked over some empty milk bottles. And there was a loud noise.
Then, Suddenly, the door opened, and a man appeared.The man held Toby, and pulled Toby into the back room. There was a noise on the stairs behind. There were Mr. Spry and another man has yellow head.'What are they doing here?' Toby asked Mr. spry. Then, Mr. Spry said 'They're thieves and they're robbing my shop.'
One of the thieves read a local paper.When Toby watched its article, an idea came into his head.He said the thieves, 'There was an accident up to the hill.' He also said the thieves, where the police go.Then, the thieves decided that they got away through the electronics factory.
The thieves got in a van, and they want to a electronics factory.Then, Toby said Mr. Spry that an accident was lie.In the local paper, there was an article "New Alarm System for Franklyn Electronics". When the thieves were into the factory, alarm rang.So, the police knew immediately, and they were arrested.

2. THE CUTTING
Toby was cycling along Ash Avenue in April.
He stopped at number seventeen. It was a small house with a large garden.There was a new owner at number seventeen. He gave the new owner a newspaper.The front door was open and a man was in the hall.The man had a beard and a moustache. Toby saw a man was moving a large desk, so Toby helped him.Toby said the man that the desk would be light if we would remove some drawers.Then, they did so and they could move the large desk. When the telephone rang, the man went out of the room.Toby carried the drawers, and then Toby noticed something.There was a paper.It was an old newspaper cutting, and it was written "PRISONER ESCAPES".The cutting was an article written about George Elton, the bank robber.
Toby was surprised, and he suspected that the man was George Elton.Because he has many paper cutting written about George Elton. In other day, Toby visited the man again.Toby told a lie to the man and he opend a drawer of the large desk.When Toby watched many cuttings in the desk, the man said "I am writing a book of my working life."Then, Toby noticed his work."You were a policeman?" Toby said in surprise."That's right," said the man.

I thought Toby is very wise boy.So, this story was very interesting!And I thought that I want to follow his attitude to work.Maybe, he enjoyed his work everyday.I want to work as I enjoy it.
