MY TREASURES♪(ESSAY 2)

I have many treasures. First, it’s my cell-phone. The reason why it’s my treasure is that it’s have many memories for me. It’s has many mail and pictures and movies. I also have digital camera, but I omit bringing it, so I often take pictures in my cell-phone. It’s very useful machine, so I can’t give up it. I can’t imagine my life without it.

Second, one of my treasures is a car of mine. The car’s name is “March”, and it has very cute design. My mother gave it to me. It brings me anywhere, and it makes me happy. I drive it for three years. I love it very much.

Next is piano. When I was five years old, I started piano lesson. And then, my parents gave it to me. I love music when I was born. And I love classic music when I was elementary school student. I like Claude Achille Debussy, and I like “clair de lune” of his music. It is last number for my piano lesson, and I played it in piano concert for my last time. I play it once in a while.

Finally, it’s most important of my treasures. It’s my pet. It’s a girl dog and she is a miniature dachshund. Her name is Rin, and she named by my mother and brother. She is three years old, and her birthday is August. Her character is tomboy, and she annoy me once in while. But she is very cute girl, so I love her very much. I think that she doesn’t know herself. Surely, she doesn’t know that she is a dog. She is very interesting girl for me, so she is very important existence for my family. Above all, my mother dotes on Rin. I think I always take care of her.

ESSAY 1

Dear host family,

Hello. How do you do? I’m Kumi Mitsunaga. I want you to introduce myself. My hometown is Kumamto city in Kumamoto. I’m twenty two years old now, and I will be twenty three in this September. My birthday is September 9^th, so my constellation is Virgo. And my blood type is A, but my friends says I’m not A type. I think that my character is optimistic, and my mother says “You’re a real character.” And my hobby is listening to music. I like music very much. I like all genres, but above all I like pop music and club music. My favorite artists of Western music are “Daft Punk”, “Space Cowboy”, and so on. I like to go to a club, but I don’t go to club which is in Kumamoto. I often go to Okinawa in my vacation, and then I go to a club in Naha city. I also like trip to Okinawa, and I go there at least two or three times a year. Okinawa is very exciting place for me.

By the way, I’m a university student. When I was six years old, I started to study English first time. I didn’t remember why I wanted to study English. But I think that I was interested in English then. But I also think I was interested in America rather than English. Because I like an American drama “Full House” then. Now, I like it very much. And I started to listen to Western music in my junior high school, so my interest in English is very big. But I didn’t think that I really study English in university. I’m interested in English because of many American dramas, many Western music, and so on.

LUSH

I like "LUSH" very much. LUSH is the bath goods shop. I like LUSH's soaps. Because its smell is very nice for me. So, I have about 10 soaps. And, I use shampoo, body butter and so on. The reason why I started to use LUSH is that I don't like bath. But when I used LUSH first, it became my favorites. And, I like bath time very much, now. I enjoy bath time everyday.

BOOK REVIEW 1-2

This book is very interesting. I love music very much; above all, I love pop. So, I want to read it. And, I'm interested in 80s music. I like Madonna very much. I think 80s music caused revolution. I like club music very much, and I like sounds of computers and synthesizer. I had play synthesizer, and I thought it is very useful and epoch-making machine. I think a characteristic of 80s music is their sounds. Madonna has many music of disco tune. When I listened techno first, my friend who knows dance music very well said "You have to listen 80s music. Maybe, you like them!" So, I listen to music of Madonna. She is very cool artist. I think 80s music is free. They play music which they want to play. So, I love 80s music.Pop means popular music. After I read this book, I think popular music is very nice. And, 80s' superstars are still superstar now.I want to listen to much music called pop.

BOOK REVIEW 1-1

I read a book which name is "AMERICAN LIFE". I'm interested in America. So, I'm interested in American life, too. When I was elementary school student, I was interested in English. Because I watched an American drama on TV. Then, I thought English is very cool language. And, I thought I want to learn English. So, I asked my mother to start to learn English. And I thought American children is very stylish.
This book has many intelligence of America. For example, cars, sports, music, movies and so on. Above all, I'm interested in movies. I surprised that American movie-makers make about 570 movies each year. I think American movies are very famous. Above all, Hollywood. I think American movies are very interesting and its cost is very large. So, American movies are powerful. I like them very much.

SLAM DUNK

"SLAM DUNK" is my most favorite cartoon. This is a cartoon of basket ball. When I was elementary school student, I knew it. I and my brother like it. But I can't play basket ball well. So, I respect students of Shohoku and other school students. And I love them. When I caught a cold, I read it for a long time in my bed. I enjoyed it very much.

AYA and KUMI

On Tuesday, I didn't have part-time job. When I watched TV in my house, I received a mail from my friend. She was free, so she invited to go dinner. When I received her mail, I was free, too. So, I said OK.

Her name is Aya, and she is younger than I for two years. But she is good friend for me, and I like her.

We talked many things. We had a good time. This picture is a purikura. Left is Aya and right is me.

DECO DEN

On Saturday, my cell-phone was back. This decoration is very cute for me and this is my favorite. I like to decorate something. Because things which is decorated makes me very happy. But my friend said "This is terrible for me! I don't like it. " When I heard my friend's words, I was very sad! But I think this is very good design and this is very cute★

This "DECO DEN" was made by a nail salon in Tokyo, and its name is malva. Many models, for example Tsubasa Masuwaka, go there. So, this is famous nail salon.

COLD

I caught a cold last week. So, I missed this class. I'm sorry, Mr.Tomei.

I don't catch a cold rarely. But when I catch a cold, it's so long time.

So, I couldn't do anything in my holiday. I was sad...

I think that the reason why I caught a cold is lack of exercise. So, my strength declines.

I think I have to do exercise.
