ASO

Aso is famous place in Japan, because there is big mountain ‘Mt. ASO’. Mt. ASO is an active volcano and has biggest caldera in the world. That’s the reason why Kumamoto called ‘HINOKUNI (the fire country)’. We can make a field trip to a crater, but when the crater is active, we can’t enter there.

Because of Mt. ASO is big volcano, there are many hot springs in ASO. For example KUROKAWA hot spring, UCHINOMAKI hot spring and more.

Then also Mt. ASO is national park. So there are many tours for Mt. ASO.And, Aso has many sightseeing spots, for example, Kusasenri and Aso Shrine.
